My work is inspired by...this pot has been thrown in porcelain then, after a bisque firing it was hand painted freestyle with layers of ash glazes coloured with oxides. My work is inspired by the abstract expressionist artists, in particular Lee Krasner, and I am always looking for a feeling of energy and movement. After the decorating process this pot was fired in reduction in a gas kiln.
