So about us - our gallery is housed in a Grade II listed building believed to date to 1608 in the centre of Woodstock, Oxfordshire. We're opposite the historic Bear hotel and a few strolls along the road to the town entrance for Blenheim Palace.
We are known for our focus on 20th Century British Art owing to the expertise of our founder, Lizzie Collins, who has over 25 years experience in the art world. Lizzie was educated at UCL and the Courtauld prior to working as a specialist and auctioneer at two major auction houses, and setting up Zuleika Gallery in 2015.
At Zuleika, we believe in supporting the future and so we show selected work by contemporary artists who we feel are engaging with the legacy of Modern British art while also forging their own innovative pathways.
The gallery is expertly managed by Philippa Phelan, who is a real life hero. Philippa trained at art school and spent 15 years in the army. Nothing is too big or too small. Philippa has a special interest in British landscape painting and war artists. We offer an armed forces discount and perhaps are the only gallery to do so!
As a gallery on the edge of the Cotswolds, we are dog friendly. You may occasionally find our own resident four legged friends on the meet and greet in the gallery.
