British artist Jo Gorner, b.1961, graduated from the Ruskin School of Fine Art, Oxford in 1982. Shortly after she was appointed co-ordinator of the Oxford Printmaking Workshop and until 2003 she supported her work through teaching, lecturing and arts management. In 1994 she completed her MA in Fine Art at Manchester Metropolitan University, and she is now based at Dean Clough arts centre in Halifax. Jo has exhibited widely over the years and has work in many public and private collections. Solo exhibitions include Flowers Graphics in January 2006 and a two person show with the photographer, Paul Kenny at Gallery Oldham in Spring 2006.
