This striking lithograph depicts the Modulor man, a figure with an important role in Le Corbusier's work as an architect. Following in the footsteps of Pythagoras and Da Vinci, Le Corbusier devised the anthropometric scale we see here. He chose a male figure, arm raised, as the standard of measurement - representing the "every man". Signed in the stone with a mysterious annotation by the artist "Friend of Modular, search by yourself, invent, discover.. Bring your inventions, they will be useful. Thank you friend, Le Corbusier"
