Original lithograph signed in pencil by Le Corbusier. His innovative philosophy of design placed emphasis on the Golden Ratio to achieve harmony of proportion, which can be observed in this composition depicting three seated women. Following in the footsteps of Pythagoras and Da Vinci, Le Corbusier devised an anthropometric scale of proportions, and used this new scale in a number of his buildings.
