Jeanne Maze developed a passion for art at an early age encouraged by her paternal grandfather, Paul Maze. In 2020, she started to work in pastel using the vast collection from Dr Roche's Maison du Pastel which she had inherited from him. "Like my grandfather, I have become spellbound by this captivating medium and now I work primarily in pastels."
It is through Jeanne's marriage to Robert Spencer-Churchill, grandson of Consuelo Balsan (nee Vanderbilt and formerly Duchess of Marlborough) and the 9th Duke of Marlborough, that the relationship between the two families has become inextricably linked.
