Two of series of four; straight lines over a different set of curves; here the points of contact between curves and straight lines is indicated by a filled in circle. The colours are counted up the straight lines and are related across the curves numerically. The downward to the left sweep of the design is stopped and taken up vertically by the variation in the number of contact points inevitable to the design. In number 33 certain circles are missed out of the system
